Prowler Fishing Charter will take you on one of the most exciting trips you will ever take, as you explore the rich waters out of Norfolk, VA. Whether you're a family looking for a fun day out, or a pro searching for that prized catch, there's something for you.

Captain Louis Hocker is a father of two boys who has been fishing his whole life. He grew up in a fishing family and has continues with his own. Along with his dedicated crew, he promises to give you his undivided attention, treating you like his own family, and by putting you on the fish. 

Up to 6 guests are welcome aboard the stunning 42' Hatteras offshore sportfishing boat, that comes fitted with everything you need for a comfortable ride. Make yourself at home in between bites, and settle in for a smooth ride. 

Head out to the rich waters of the North Atlantic Ocean and Chesapeake Bay. Get your hands on some prized fish. Explore everywhere from the inshore fishing grounds to the deep waters offshore. There's no end to what you can catch. Target beauties such as Spanish Mackerel, Black Seabass, Bluefish, Spades, Trigger, Redfish, Tautog, Spot and Croaker. Plus, Blue Marlin, White Marlin, Bluefin and Yellowfin Tuna, Mahi, Cobia, and Amberjack offshore. Please check the trip description. To book the right trip for you and the fish you are looking for.

This is a very child and family-friendly charter where liquor is not permitted, but you are welcome to bring along canned beer, and smoking is only allowed outside. The first mate works for tips, and will do his/her best to make your stay on the boat an enjoyable one. A gratuity of 20% is customary and very much appreciated.

With everything needed for a productive day on board provided, there's nothing left for you to do but come aboard. Prowler Fishing Charter offers a range of fishing experiences like no other, so come and take advantag of it! Head out in the bay and troll for Spanish Mackerel, Bluefish, Cobia, Red Drum, or bottom fish for various species!

The captain knows a range of different fishing grounds for this 6-hour trip. Hit the inshore shallows, the nearshore reefs and wrecks, there's no end to what you can catch. Depending on their season you can possibly target Redfish, Spanish Mackerel, Bluefish, Cobia, Black Seabass, Striped Bass, and more, in which promises to be a fun-filled day out fishing.

6 Hour Trip (AM)

Spending that little bit extra on the water gives you the chance to explore a wider range of fishing grounds, as you try bottom fishing and trolling along the reefs, wrecks, and open waters. Get ready for a fun-filled fishing adventure, going after some tough-fighting creatures such as Mackerel, Bluefish, Tautog, Spots, Croaker, Trigger and more, and head home with more than just great memories.

6 Hour Trip (PM)

There's nothing quite as breathtaking as a fight against some of the ocean's most dangerous predators, so why not spend a whole day making the most of it? Get out on the deep waters of the Atlantic and battle it out with a range of Sharks. You'll have the adrenaline pumping throughout the day, as you land a monster you'll never forget.

8 Hour Trip – Shark Fishing

Exploring the nearshore waters out of Norfolk, VA, will see you waste no time in going fishing. Within minutes, you'll cast your line, as you try bottom fishing and trolling for beauties such as Cobia, Redfish, Striped Bass, Black Seabass, Amberjack and Spanish Mackerel. Explore a range of fishing grounds, test out a range of techniques, and head home with plenty of meat to enjoy.

8 Hour Trip – Nearshore

Head out to the deep water to do some bottoming fishing. Usually fish depths 250’ to 1500’ in search of Golden Tile,Blueline Tile,Black Seabass,Snowy Grouper,and others!

Head to the deep waters of the Atlantic and test your skills and strength against some fishing royalty. Over the course of 12 hours, you're sure to see some monster fish, such as Marlin, Sailfish, Tuna, Mahi Mahi, and Wahoo, as you troll the offshore waters and even try deep dropping. You'll practice catch and release against Billfish, while you can also head home with plenty of meat if you land one of the other beauties.

12 Hour Trip – Offshore

The deeper the water, the bigger the fish, so get ready for the fishing adventure of a lifetime as you head to the heart of the Atlantic in search of some monster fish. Along the canyons, you'll come into contact with beauties such as Blue Marlin, White Marlin, Swordfish, and Tuna, among many more. Each of these beasts promises an incredible fight to come aboard, so make sure you're full of energy, as you look to land the catch of a lifetime.
