Capt. Johnny Maddox runs offshore game fishing trips around the beautiful waters of the Florida Keys. With over 50 years of fishing experience, Capt. Johnny has extensive knowledge of the local fisheries and techniques that work. At an early age, Capt. Johnny was fishing with his dad in the Pay lakes in Southern Ohio, looking for Catfish and Blue Gills. He has also fished the bayou outside of New Orleans for Redfish, and went out to the oil rigs for Amberjack and Grouper, among other species. He then went over to Jacksonville FL in 1977 and fell for the blue water.

Snapper fishing trip
We went with Captain Johnny Maddox on a snapper trip and he did not disappoint. Johnny put us on a great catch of fish on a day that wasn't the easiest to fish. We came in with a basket full of snapper when other charters were only bringing in 5-6 fish. I recommend anyone that wants to have a great time catching fish to use Johnny Maddox charters.

Great Day, Great Crew
Brian & Brody - great crew, very informative and fun as heck... They put us on fish, we hauled in a variety of fish and enough keepers for dinner that night A day on the water with my teenage boys is always special, but Brian & Brody made the 'slow' times entertaining. Definitely - recommend these guys.
