Your Fishing Charter

Pj’s Guide Services offers customers the exclusive opportunity to catch multiple freshwater species year-round. Whether you’re looking to go ice fishing in the winter or trolling in the summer, Pj McDeid will tailor your trip based on your preferences. With over 40 years of fishing experience and 25 years guiding, Pj is just the man you want to put you on some amazing fish.

His boat is a 19’ Alumacraft, equipped with a GPS, fishfinder, radar, and wireless trolling motor. She accommodates up to 3 guests, everyone can fish at the same time, and kids of all ages are welcome aboard. You’ll also have a cooler for your snacks and drinks, as well as a livewell for the bait.

Pj offers several packages, based on the time of year of your trip. Ice fishing can be booked from December to March and all necessary gear will be provided, including tents and heating. You’ll arrive at the meeting point and head out either by foot or vehicle.

His other fishing trips are available from March to November. These trips will give you the opportunity to try some different techniques, including jigging, spinning, popping, and trolling. If it’s your first time, Pj can provide as much assistance as you need or if you’re a seasoned angler, he’ll give as much space as you want.

Your target species include Largemouth and Smallmouth Bass, Walleye, Musky, Northern Pike, Sunfish, Crappie, and Yellow Perch. Pj has both light and heavy tackle depending on the weight of the catch. He keeps an array of top-quality rods and reels available on board, made by a variety of brands.

All you’ve got to do is pick up your fishing license before the trip, show up 15 minutes before departure, and the rest will be covered. Feel free to bring food and beverages, as well as any other personal items you may need.

A full-day trip increases your opportunities of catching multiple species.  You'll also have the option of taking a break halfway through the trip and stopping somewhere for lunch. Your target species for the day include Walleye, Yellow Perch, Northern Pike, Musky, Smallmouth and Largemouth Bass, Sunfish, and Crappie. All equipment and bait is included, so just purchase a fishing license before the trip and come ready to have a great time!

Get ready to go ice fishing and catch multiple species while staying warm and dry in a heated fish house. Target species include Yellow Perch, Smallmouth and Largemouth Bass, Musky, Northern Pike, and Walleye. All gear is included, as well as tents and heating. You'll meet at the pre-determined location and head to the lake either by foot or vehicle. Just be sure to pick up your fishing license before the trip and the rest is taken care of!
