Hop on board Push the Limit Sportfishing to see what Montauk's waters have to offer. Whether you're beginners looking to learn, veteran anglers looking to catch, or a family just looking for a day on the water, you're sure to enjoy your experience. Captain Ben McCarron is an experienced professional who has been working on the water in Montauk since the age of 12. 

Jump on the comfortable 31' JC downeast boat that accommodates up to 4 anglers with ease. Upgraded with the latest electronics to keep you safe and get you on the fish faster. The boat also has a full toilet for your comfort. 

Ben customizes the trip for you, based on your experience level and what you want to catch. Stay inshore to cast at blitzing Striped Bass and False Albacore with light spinning tackle, drag baits on the bottom for Fluke, or load up on Porgies, Cod, and Sea Bass. You can head offshore to chum for Sharks as well as troll or jig and pop for Tuna and Mahi Mahi. Fishing tackle will always be provided but feel free to bring your own. Whatever you like this trip is based around your interest. 

If you decide to keep your catch at the end of the day the crew will be happy to fillet and bag it up for you to take home for dinner!

Push the Limit also offers specialized night Bass trips. These offer anglers of all experience levels a chance to get out after dark and tangle with Striped Bass in the 25-50 pound range. Anglers will use a mixture of live and artificial baits to get the bite. Night Bass trips are based strictly around the tide and may leave any time between sunset and sunrise.

On all trips anglers should bring their own snacks and drinks. It is also recommended they bring proper sun protection and footwear. Come enjoy a day out on the water in Montauk with the experienced crew at Push the Limit Sportfishing.

Sleep in and get up and get the fish in the afternoon! These trips stay in Montauk's inshore waters where you will be targeting Striped Bass, Porgy, Bluefish, Fluke, and Sea Bass. Make sure to bring some snacks and proper sun protection.

Go out for the morning and come back with plenty of time to go to the beach in the afternoon. You'll be fishing inshore for striped bass, Sea Bass, Fluke, Bluefish, and Porgy with either light or heavy tackle. Bring snacks and sun protection.

Half Day Trip – Inshore (AM)

This trip heads out a little before sunset so you catch a view before catching some fish once the sun goes down. You'll be fishing strictly for big Striped Bass either around Montauk or Block Island. Methods will be dropping down live Eels or using the artificial your choice. The style of fishing you'll be using requires a bit more room so this trip is limited to a maximum of 4 anglers.

Night Bass Trip (4 Max)

Go out for a full day of fishing that allows you to cover a wide range of species. You'll be fishing inshore for Striped Bass, Bluefish, Fluke, Sea Bass, and Porgy with either light or heavy tackle. Bring snacks and sun protection.

Full Day Inshore Trip

Head as many as 30 miles offshore in pursuit of some sea monsters! Out here you'll see many Shark species as well as Bluefin and Yellowfin Tuna, White Marlin, and Mahi Mahi. These fish are hard fighters that will put you to the test! Make sure you bring enough snacks and drinks to keep up that energy. This trip is limited to 4 anglers to make sure everyone is comfortable.

3/4 Day Offshore Trip (4 Max)

These trips will have you running as much as 80 miles out to the edge of the continental shelf. The sights you see out here can be even cooler than the fish you catch. Out here you'll have chances at Bluefin, Yellowfin, Bigeye, and Albacore Tuna, Blue and White Marlin, Wahoo, Mahi Mahi, and Shark. You'll need a day's worth of food and drinks for your group as well as any other necessities as you will be on board for 15 hours. To keep everyone fully comfortable, this trip is limited to 4 anglers.
