Explore the beautiful Gulf of California out of Puerto Peñasco with Sea Best Charters! Captain Luis knows the best way to enjoy these waters. He’ll take you to all of his favorite spots, and show you just how prolific fishing off the coast of Mexico can be!

You’ll head out on his 24’ Legacy center console boat, powered by a 115 HP Mercury 4-stroke engine. The boat can accommodate up to 4 anglers per trip, and it features all the electronics needed for a successful fishing trip. There’s a live bait tank on board, as well as an ice box, so you can keep your catch cool.

On a trip with Captain Luis, you’ll be exploring the inshore waters of the Gulf of California, as well as the prolific nearshore reefs. These waters are as abundant as they are beautiful, so there’s no shortage of species you can target at any given time. You’ll come across creatures like Mackerel, Flounder, Seabass, and California Corbina.

Captain Luis will have all the fishing equipment ready for you on board – rods, reels, and tackle. You’ll be fishing using live bait and a range of artificial lures. If you’re up for some more fun, you can try out Flounder gigging. At the end of the day, the captain will be happy to clean and fillet your catch so you can taste the fruits of your labor upon returning to shore.

Along the way, you’ll be able to do a bit of sightseeing – bird and whale watching are especially fun! All you need to bring is some sunscreen for your protection, and some snacks to keep you energized.
