You'll head out on his 24' Legacy center console boat, powered by a 115 HP Mercury 4-stroke engine. The boat can accommodate up to 4 anglers per trip, and it features all the electronics needed for a successful fishing trip. There's a live bait tank on board, as well as an ice box, so you can keep your catch cool.
On a trip with Captain Luis, you'll be exploring the inshore waters of the Gulf of California, as well as the prolific nearshore reefs. These waters are as abundant as they are beautiful, so there's no shortage of species you can target at any given time. You'll come across creatures like Mackerel, Flounder, Seabass, and California Corbina.
Captain Luis will have all the fishing equipment ready for you on board – rods, reels, and tackle. You'll be fishing using live bait and a range of artificial lures. If you're up for some more fun, you can try out Flounder gigging. At the end of the day, the captain will be happy to clean and fillet your catch so you can taste the fruits of your labor upon returning to shore.

We caught triggerfish, sea trout, and rockfish by the dozens. We landed some exotic fish too, like lizardfish and the “mother-in-law” fish. Marco was an excellent host snd skilled captain; you can’t find a more seasoned and friendly captain in RP. You’re fortunate to get him if you have the opportunity!

Best fishing trip of my life! My two boys and I spent four hours out with Captain Marcos and it did not disappoint — we caught about 60 fish total, including corvina, trigger fish, and rock bass. Captain Marcos knew exactly where to find them and made the whole trip incredibly fun for the kids. An amazing experience from start to finish, and we’ll definitely be booking with him again. Highly recommend!
