Rocketman Charters offers quality guiding from a knowledgeable, experienced, high energy Captain Jon. He works very hard to stay on the bite! If you want to chase Redfish on fly or fill the cooler with flounder Rocketman has you covered.

The boat is 19’ long and powered by a reliable 2014 Yamaha 115HP four stroke engine. This skiff allows for extremely shallow water fishing as well as a comfortable ride in the river due to its famous pathfinder design. There’s enough room for 3 guests to join, so bring your friends or family along.

Northeast Florida is home to many extraordinary gamefish such as Redfish, Sea Trout, Flounder, and Tarpon. Add to that list Spanish Mackerel, Pompano, Jack Crevalle, Sheepshead, and Black Drum, and you got yourself the usual target list with Rocketman Charter. The trips are designed for anglers to experience the best bits of Jacksonville fishery.

Capt. Jon takes care of almost everything you’ll need for your day out. The license and fishing equipment are covered and included in the price. You can also count on fly fishing gear if you’re experienced and complimentary catch cleaning service. Just pack some snacks, drinks, and sun protection.

The afternoon trips are perfect for the winter time. Instead of heading out in the cold weather in the early morning we can let the sun come up and warm things up a bit. The afternoon trip also give us an option to fish a potentially better tide compared to the morning. The 4 hour trip is perfect for a half day of getting out on the water or for families with children. 

Four Hour Afternoon Trip

The six hour trip is a perfect sweet spot for both the hardcore fisherman and the family fishing trip. It allows us extra time to find a good bite of fish while not spending the entire day on the water. If you are willing to put in the extra time the reward is worth it. 

Six Hour Morning Trip

6 hours of fishing is just enough to fill out your bucket with fish, while still leaving enough time of the day for other activities. Target Trout, Redfish, Flounder, Sheepshead, and other species. Fly fishing trips are available and will be planned based on the tides.

Six hour Afternoon Charter

If you are fully commited to an entire 8 hour trip then this is a great option to experience. An 8 hour trip allows for ample time to find fish and see multiple areas of our inshore/nearshore waters. Great for adults and serious fisherman.
