I am Captain Cameron Parkhurst, an Animal Science Major from the University of Florida as well as a Scuba Instructor. I'm 30 plus years local to the area. My marine science background and knowledge of how fish position themselves in various habitat (from seeing them underwater) really helps to add layers of knowledge to my group's fishing experience. I've held a boat captain's license since 1997 and also am first aid/CPR trained.

    caught fish the whole time

    6 Hour Trip • 6 adults

    first time offshore fishing for the whole group and it didn't disappoint. From the first drop to the last we were getting bites. we caught 9 different species on our trip. Go in with an open mind and a willingness to learn and you will have as good of a time as we did. You will most likely need to leave your hooksets at home to catch fish out there. that was our hardest lesson to learn.

    GREAT TIME!!

    4 Hour Trip – Shark Fishing • 4 adults • 1 child

    Had a blast surpassing my boys with their first trip! We will definitely try to come back if we’re ever on vacation near here in the future! 6 hour trip or more is definitely the way to go, it flys by while you’re having fun reeling in fish!

    Fishing trip

    8 Hour Trip • 5 adults • 1 child

    Boat was in ok shape, Needs some TLC but got the job done. caught several fish, but nothing we caught was in season. only fish we got to keep was the Vermillion snapper. We caught a couple nice amber jacks and several red snapper but could not keep them because they were not in season, but still extremely fun to catch. (At no fault of the captain oe crew) It didnt help the seas were very rough. All of us got bad motion sickness again at no fault of crew. We took motion sickness medicene thenight beforeand morning before but did not help. All in all tge trip was good and we got to bring some fish home and created good memories. Thank you Captain Cameron and First Mate...

    fishing trip for saturday, october 25

    4 Hour Trip (AM) • 4 adults

    it was a great trip. got a little rough as the day went on and we came in early. Had an awesome day and caught lots. all in all it was a good day. Captain Cameron and mate Tony made it a great day. we enjoyed it and will definitely be back to try some other delights on the water. Thanks to you both for making it a great day.

    Amazing Experience!

    12 Hour Trip • 5 adults

    Captain Cameron and Mate Louis were amazing! They got us out and kept us hooked up all day despite a very cranky ocean. Brought home some good dinner!

Another Spanish Mac beatdown!

We braved very windy condituons today and caught a limit of 40 Spanish Mackerel and then hit the back country for a few mangroves. We lost one nice trout with a hook fsiking. Outside of that it was a fun and productive day!

My Georgia crew wanted fish tacos so we went and caught their limit of Spanish Mackerel, then rolled down in the bayous and caught a few mangroves and somehow lost a real nice trout tona straightened hook. Was a very fun and productive day!

Stayed inshore with our crew for today and left the Spanish biting this AM. Could have kept our limit, but they only wanted one dinner. Caught some mangroves and redfish…didn’t take many pictures as the wind was cranking out of the SW and there was intermittent sea fog in the area today. We covered some ground, caught fish and had a good time!

Triggerfish & Mingo Trip

We had a party of three wanting a little meat for the freezer, so headed south to some rocky bottom. Red Snapper were prevalent (out of season and released), but the Triggerfish and Mingo Snapper came home for dinner. Was fun fishing with lighter tackle and fish pulling throughout the trip!

Afternoon Bay Trip

We left the marina and cruised around Destin, locating birds and fish working bait on the flats north of Destin Bridge. There were a lot of ladyfish, Spanish Mackerel, and some Jacks marauding the flats. We got our limit of Spanish to eat for dinner and had other releases. Was a fun short afternoon and we got to enjoy a beautiful sunset on the water!

Spanish Slam!

Ran a 4-hour trip Sunday and had great conditions with a lot of bait and working birds around Destin pass and Choctawhatchee Bay. The early season Spanish Mackerel bite was on fire!
