Fished today with Captain Greivin and Mate Esteban. We’re boater/fishers from the mid Atlantic and we found out quickly we were in good hands with the crew on the Flycatcher. Saw lots of beautiful CR dolphins , turtles and the prized Pacific Sailfish. Our son in law caught his first ever sailfish and that excitement will be etched in our memories forever! They provided great food and beverages too! First Class Operation…PuraVida

My girlfriend and I had an amazing time with Captain Greivin today. He and first mate Esteban worked tirelessly to get us into fish, and we were even lucky enough to come home with 3 beautiful tuna. The lunch and snacks provided were also delicious, especially the fresh sashimi on the ride in!

I really cannot say enough good things about our experience today. They are outstanding guys and it was an honor to spend the day with them both. Pura vida!

The rainy season lasted longer than normal this year in Costa Rica but the fish didn’t care!  And nor did our captain and mate.

Captain Greiven did everything I would expect a charter captain to do including providing lunch, drinks, snacks, guidance and most importantly the fish!

We landed 3 sailfish in the span of an hour including a double hook up that left us exhausted and thrilled.

Would highly recomend his services.  A great day at sea.

This was an out of this world experience for me and my girlfriend. Captain G. Was super professional, met us at the marina, gave us some cool facts about the fishing grounds and the area. His Rigs were stellar, the boat was clean, and even though the waves were a bit choppy (we went in early November) we had a comfortable ride. I recommend bringing a rain jacket if you go in early November and prepared to get a little wet, but hey it’s part of the fun. The weather did clear and the waves did decrease as we got 11 miles offshore near the grounds. Within the first 10 min of trolling I reeled in a 86 inch sailfish which gave a fun fight. And not but 25 min after that I got on top of a 400 pound Black Marlin! This fella had me in the fight for 3 hours! A little Painful yet exhilarating. This was a fish of a lifetime and I’m still mesmerized by this trip. I highly recommend Captain G. and his crew. They were very helpful and knowledgeable and got me some insanely big fish. My girlfriend and I went inshore fishing with CAPT Greivin Rosales and his crewmate Kenneth and they took great care of us. They were determined to put us in the right positions to catch big fish. They had bait fish ready and were constantly fishing for better bait fish as we were casting for rooster fish and snapper. They also fed us and provided drinks. We got to know them a bit and enjoyed their company.  We had many bites that we lost due to our own inexperience but they taught us how to improve our technique and we caught a big Jack Fish. 10/10 experience! I feel like a better fisherman now and plan to call them when I’m back in CR for another outing.
