- Captain Andreas Handl was born in Lower Austria. He grew up exploring the pristine streams full of Trout near his family home. Andreas spent his childhood summers discovering the streamside. He obtained his first fishing license at a young age of 14 and since then, there was hardly a free minute where he wasn’t fly fishing. Andreas began a career in the culinary industry and made sure it was close to a Grayling and Trout stream. His fishing repertoire in Europe included a wide variety of lakes and streams in the Alps. When he first visited British Columbia, Andreas got hooked on Steelhead, Salmon, and ocean fishing.
