My wife and I took our 13 year old grandson on a trip to Florida. We did as much as we could with him, Space Center , surfing lessons, putt putt, cart racing but the thing he has talked about for the the last 2 days is the fishing trip with Captain Fred. Captain Fred knew my main reason for fishing was Tristan and Fred searched until he found Tristan 3 Reds , two over 10 pounds. The weather wasn’t good fishing weather, winds over 20, but a great trip for the both of us. Thank you Captain Fred!!!  Look at the video to see the weather.

We had an amazing experience- Fred was very personable and knew exactly what he was doing. He was very patient with me and taught me a few tips about bait fishing which I was doing wrong. He also went into detail regarding when to reel in ( I am new to saltwater fishing). We will definitely book again and look forward to another trip with Fred- he a great captain and fishing buddy :)
The bites were a bit slow for the day but it was absolutely not for lack of effort by Fred to put us on the fish. We caught a nice trout and 2 redfish, one of which we threw back to live and produce more beautiful fish.

It was so much fun! It was super cold and we didn’t come prepared enough, and Captain Fred was kind enough to give us some extra jackets! We were inexperienced with the kinda of baits he was using, and he fully talked us all the way through it and made sure the whole trip was about US catching the fish, and didn’t miss out on any experiences (including getting me out of my comfort zone to hold my own fish) and other than snacks or drinks you want, he has you covered if you want to have a good time! Highly reccomend☺️

My wife and I are very new to this type of fishing and Captain Fred was very patient and instructional on the best places to cast and the best ways to fight and land the fish. He was very personable and had a great knowledge of the area we were fishing as well as the fish we were targeting. We look forward to an opportunity to fish with him again.

Capt. Fred is the best!  Great communication and planning.  He gave me a good rundown on the weather and current conditions which helped me prepare for a great day on the water.  He quickly put me on the fish while teaching me about the local wildlife and environment.  I can’t remember a more enjoyable day.  I highly recommend going with Capt. Fred!!
