It was an awesome experience. Honestly we could have chose another boat but it wouldn’t have been the same. When capt Jody says you’re part of the family he means it. As soon as we stepped on the boat you felt right at home. He was very knowledgeable but kept it light and fun. His first mate Darrel is first class too. Both Captain Jody and Daryl were amazing, super knowledgeable and helpful. We both got a large halibut each and enough cod to drown in. The ocean was glass and the views breathtaking. I highly recommend!

Had a great time out on the water the Captain Jody and his deckhand. Everyone on the boat limited out on Halibut and had a great time. I caught 6 with caught a 80lber too. Also went for rockfish and everyone caught multiple fish. The captain was highly knowledgeable about the water and boat was in great condition. Everyone on the boat was friendly. The charter was beyond our expectations - Captain Jody and Daryl were amazing! Of course, we had incredible weather - sunny, no wind and no rain in Whittier. There was a little confusion as to where to meet the morning of the charter - we were told 2 different locations at different times. It would also have been helpful to received the information for box lunches from Lazy Otter prior to the trip.
