Unfortunately the weather didn’t cooperate. That was discussed prior to the trip and we thought we had a window were we could get the trip in. The boat is a flats back 21 ft skiff exactly as depicted on our site. Halfway into the trip the wind came on hard and we discussed options with both him and his dad. All agreed to end the trip. And I might add that we also in lieu of the weather offered another, trip gratis. We actually went additional areas to find areas where the wind wasn’t so bad to no avail. The reason for the afternoon was hopefully the weather would be more cooperative. Again all these points were discussed and because he was visiting his dad and leaving the following day we tried to do our best. The offer still stands for a comp trip.

Odd review and let me explain. Sean and his friends arrived on time prior to fishing I gave them several options. Stay in the bay and hopefully catch some small blues the bay with water temperatures in the 80’s was not producing or for a fuel charge run 45 miles to where we had some better fishing. The crew opted to go for bigger fish hopefully. Now these young men were beginners never fished before, Roger my mate gave them excellent service which is evidence by their generous tip. They had a stellar morning and look at the smiles and fish. Their catch was cleaned and bagged prior to departure, and we also accommodated their request by dropping them off at Liberty landing so they could ferry to Manhattan rather than uber from our dock in Jamaica bay. BTW Jim wasn’t on the boat just the young men pictured. they look pretty happy to me. My 25 parker is probably as nice as a center console as you will find, a pure fishing boat, state of the art electronics, newly powered and seaworthy. Also, we asked if they enjoyed their trip and all were happy.
