Karen Ann Charters and Captain Vinnie have been offering fishing trips in New York for years and now you can finally join them in Florida too! From December till the middle of April, you can find them in Stuart and take a trip in one of their boats.
You'll be fishing aboard a 21' Maritime skiff that accommodates up to 3 anglers. If you have a larger group, check out the captain's second Stuart listing – the other boat can take up to 5 anglers! This boat features all necessary navigational electronics to easily find the fish, has a live bait tank, and wireless trolling motor.
You'll explore the local inshore waters and flats, looking for tasty Redfish and Snook. You can also land Spotted Seatrout, Pompano, Ladyfish, and Amberjack. Trolling and casting are the best ways to catch them if you're a beginner but if you really want to challenge yourself, try fly fishing. This advanced technique asks for lots of precision and patience.
After the trip, the catch is yours to keep and the captain will clean it for you free of charge. If you're saving it for later, don't forget your cooler. You'll be provided with lots of top-notch fishing equipment, snacks, and drinks. Your fishing license is also covered by the captain.

Trip was supposed to be in the morning didn't go till afternoon. The amenities that were described were not on the boat. Just seemed like a unprepared disheveled trip
Unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate. That was discussed prior to the trip and we thought we had a window were we could get the trip in. The boat is a flats back 21 ft skiff exactly as depicted on our site. Halfway into the trip the wind came on hard and we discussed options with both him and his dad. All agreed to end the trip. And I might add that we also in lieu of the weather offered another, trip gratis. We actually went additional areas to find areas where the wind wasn't so bad to no avail. The reason for the afternoon was hopefully the weather would be more cooperative. Again all these points were discussed and because he was visiting his dad and leaving the following day we tried to do our best. The offer still stands for a comp trip.
