…to describe this great trip with Captain Ed and Ian. Ed spent a whole day to get a replacement for his broken boat to make our trip happen. Both explained those helpful little tricks to my son and me. They showed us where and how to catch fish: so after a fantastic day we got back with a great catch: 6 mahi-mahi and 1 tuna. What a delicious meal! For sure we are going to book at Wettailscharters again!  

Absolute Epic Day out on the water with Captain Ed and his crew Mike and David on Wet Tails Fishing! We had an incredible experience fishing the keys on a private charter. We caught yellowtail snapper that we cooked up for dinner, Blueline tilefish, Mangrove Snapper, Lookdown Fish, Porkfish, Schoolmaster Snapper. We even had a Bullshark pay us a visit to try and steal our catch.

Great all around. Captain Ed and First Mate Maikel were very knowledgeable in every aspect. Due to rough seas, we were not able to get out on the Atlantic side but the Captain still got us on the fish. We did the inshore reef/wreck six hour package and caught many mangrove snapper and a few other species. Any experienced or non-experienced crew will enjoy this charter. 5/5

First time fishing out on the open water. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Ed and Mikey were patient with our group and taught us a ton. They were fun to be with and we caught a Mahi Mahi and a ton of yellow tail snapper. Only wish we booked more time. Next time definitely going to go get some Tuna. Look no further these are the best guides we could have asked for!
