I was raised here on the Outer Banks and my love for fishing stretches back to when I was a young kid. I’ve spent many of days and nights on the water and can’t wait to share my experiences. After high school I joined the United States Marine Corps in which I spent 4 years serving this beautiful nation. After getting out I began commercial fishing on a pelagic long line fishing vessel. Needless to say I have a few tricks up my sleeve so come join me on the water for a memorable experience.

When its blowing like it has the drum have been absolutely chewing! I would say theyโ€™ve been hungry to say the least. One trip we caught atleast 30. Looks like we might have some decent to weather this week probably will try for sheepshead and trout some more this week. Been catching some but itโ€™s definitely been a grind. Get on the books before it fills up!

Thank you to everyone that has came out and fished with me. Some days have been tough with slow bites but were managing dinner and great times. Also big thank you too everyone that has been patient with me and able to reschedule on some of these questionable nasty days theyve worked out for the better. Sometimes i need to watch it to get a better idea of what to go do. Its just me so ive got alot going on messaging everyone so again thank you so much for being patient with me i greatly appreciate it yall are awesome and im glad weve been able to make some fantastic memories that i will not forget. Red drum, speckled trout, sheepshead, flounder have been that majority of the catches lately but of you book 6 or 8 hour trips and feel comfortable going into the ocean theres some good fishing to be had out there as well.

Because they swim in schoolsโ€ฆโ€ฆ. Fishing had been alot of fun this year. The weather has been for the most part relatively spectacular. Some slow days mixed with some absolutely fun days but weโ€™ve been catching sheepshead, trigger fish, black sea bass, red drum, spotted sea trout, and the elusive flounder. Thanks for tuning in!

The fishing has been fun. Putting in some time can be the best to land some big catches but ive been managing to pick away at dinner on 2 and 4 hour trips. Weโ€™ve been catching sheepshead, black drum, speckled trout, sea bass. I did catch a few triggers in the ocean the other day. That should get pretty good here shortly as well as the amberjack. Hope to see yall soon!
