Highly recommend hiring this experienced fishing team.  We had a perfect experience & caught our limit of coho.  Jim & Troy used various baits & techniques to keep the fish biting.  Can’t say enough good things about our overall experience.  Will fish with them again.

Water conditions were a little rough due to a storm and wind the night before put Cptn. James still put us on a couple of Coho’s. If conditions were better I know we would have caught more. Him and his first mate are hilarious and share good stories and jokes. Boat was clean and nice and he cleaned our fish for us after the trip. Would 100% recommend and go out with Cptn. James again.

Captain Dave and crew were courteous, professional and knew exactly where the fish were,  His 18 years of experience was evident as we came back with several fish and a great experience.

We were originally set to fish on Thursday June 24th, my husbands 75th birthday.  Due to harsh weather and hazards for boating, we rescheduled for… Sunday. This worked out great… as it allowed more time to explore Wisconsin, especially Green Bay where our Packers reside. 
Come Sunday morning, at 4:30 am we were off to fish the great Lake Michigan.  We were greeted by the most gracious captain and first mate. What a wonderful experience they provided for us.  My husband and I are well into our senior years, and I must admit not skilled in the art of fishing on a large water lake,  on a foggy morning.  Captain was especially careful to provide for our safety and enjoyment, even as we were covered with a blanket of fog.  Out came the fishing rods and lures of all shapes and sized.  First mate Tim was moving about with genuine talent for setting up our day for fishing. 
Not long after setting the lines, we had a bite.  Tim and Jim called out my name, encouraging me to bring in the big one.  WOW, the adrenalin was pumping, they cheered me on….when about to give in they kept cheering….and I did it I brought in my first ever salmon.  I was ecstatic !!!  Not much longer, another bite…Jim called out and again there I was reeling in another. This time a rainbow trout.  Boy it seemed like the biggest fish I ever saw.  No more then reeling it in…another bite.  This time my husband Bruce was cheered on.  Somewhat reluctant, with some concerns for his balance as the boat rocked in the waves, he stood up to the task.  I grabbed his belt loop and Tim was close by to assure his safety, and we all cheered Bruce on. All on the boat were excitedly encouraging Bruce to reel…reel….reel, faster….faster…faster.  And finally, up surfaced a big beautiful lake trout.  It was a beauty…We all cheered again at the catch.  They day continued with several more bites, unfortunately Bruce and lost a few, leaving them for another day, another time.  I did manage to bring in another good sized rainbow trout.  As the morning moved closer to the end of our excursion. Jim and Tim shared tales of their life on the lake, growing up in Wisconsin and family times with loved ones.  They made for a very personal experience along with a delightful fishing day.
OH YES Sea Dog Sportfishing Charters is the way to go…Just don’t forget to bring the warm home baked banana muffins.  If you forget, Jim will make sure let you know.  Next time Jim I won’t forget..(lol)
