We started off with rough weather after a large front went through last night. The cabin was a windfall to get out of the cooler morning air. Doug put us on fish in some calmer seas. His 1st mate John is polite, friendly, and knows his stuff.  We got a bonus US Navy Blue Angels practice show at the end of our trip. Awesome day.

Captain Dougy was a pleasure to work with scheduling our trip while dealing with some uncertain weather. Easy to communicate with and very timely responses. Once we got out to sea, it was fishing time! A bit choppy and breezy, but we caught our limit of 65 Spanish Mackerel in under 4 hours. Not stop action and noticed the other boats out weren’t catching much of anything. Capt Dougy had a great strategy and it worked!  I will use him again and highly recommend!

Captain Doug and his son Jonjon were absolutely amazing! From the moment we stepped on the boat for our charter, they welcomed us like family. Captain Doug’s expertise and knowledge of the waters put us on the fish all afternoon long. Thank you, Captain Doug and Jonjon, for making this charter unforgettable and enjoyable adventure. We can’t wait to come back again for another fantastic fishing trip.

This was the best fishing trip we’ve had and the most fish we could catch for the day!! Thanks to a great Father and son duo that managed the boat and rigs.  We truly enjoyed our time with you.  You are blessed to be together in Perdido Key making your company last for generations! We will return to sea with you again for sure.  You will not be disappointed to go fishing with Six Shooters!

Had a great trip with Captain Doug and his son John. Chose them when I had family come to town to visit. They were both awesome to work with. Captain Doug got us on the fish while John helped out a lot when setting up the poles and pulling the fish in. Great experience overall and would highly recommend them to anyone. Also, would use them again for future trips.
