The four of us, my three children and myself, are far from experienced fishermen but with the great crew on board of the Ratinho we had a wonderful trip on the ocean and came back to shore with plenty of fish. The material was all set up for us so we did not have to worry about anything. As a bonus our captain Adriano gave us an insight on the sea life and different species of fish. Although there were quite some waves Adriano was able to manoeuvre us in good fishing grounds and was continuously taking care of our comfort. Super experience guided by the very professional crew. Thanks again and I really hope to sail off with the Ratinho again in the
future.

Would I book with them again? Most likely yes. It was a good trip, starting with trolling where we caught 3 barracudas, then line fishing where we caught trigger fish and mackerel.
Two reasons why I scored a 4 and not a 5. The first is that at the time of booking, I wanted a confirmation that there are restaurants that would prepare and cook the fish for us against a service fee, and the captain had confirmed. Only one day prior to the trip, the captain informed us that due to the busy season, restaurants are not accepting this anymore, which was very disappointing. So probably not the captain’s fault, but a set back.
The weather that day was slightly turbulent, so took quite some time trying to find a calm spot where we can get fish (more than an hour). It’s understandable to an extent, but my wife and daughter were bored during that time, wanting to end the trip early. This changed once we settled on a spot.

After checking all Sports fishing Providers, i decited to Book my fishing Trips with Captain Adriano. And this was doubtfulnes the Best Choice. Adriano is unbelievable helpful supportive, well exeperienced and he tries everything, to bring you to the Fish. Great trip and - Like i said- my Best Choice. We spend a great day with Captain Adriano and his crew mate Philippe. First half of the trip we did not have a lot of action, but we’re able to enjoy the water and the boat and saw some dolphins as well. In the second part the action started. We had multiple hits with tuna and managed to get one on board.
Overall a great day with Adriano, who was helpful, engaging and flexible as he stayed a little longer when the action started.
Wonderful experience. I hope I can come back again in the future.

Lots of fun and lots of fish - 4 adults and 1 teenaged boy some without any prior fishing experience.

Adriano and Paul were helpful, knowledgeable and ensured that it was easy for us first timers to fish and have a great time. The “tournament” element of the trip where we were completing to catch the most fish worked well. My son ended up winning and the prize was a tshirt. We were told that it was a particularly good day, and caught 45 fish total. Some were small and thrown back, and some we kept. All of this was great as we wanted to catch fish and have fun rather than go big game fishing. We took 5 of the fish home and ate them for dinner that same night. We didn’t end up having snacks on the boat, but this was fine with us as it was a half day trip morning trip and we ate breakfast before arriving.

Would definitely recommend for a family or group looking to have a fun fishing experience.
