Beautiful Day for Some Mahi Mahi

Weather was great, caught some mahi mahi and customer wanted to go to the reef for some yellowtail snappers . We did just that. Client was extremely happy , great day on the water.

We loved our time fishing with Ricardo! He has a sweet set up, which was perfect for our family, who are all fishing novices. He was incredibly patient and we all managed to catch something on our trip. He cleaned our fish and recommended a local restaurant who would cook it up for us (highly recommend Buzzard’s Roost nearby). Thank you Ricardo for a memorable and fun trip. We’ll definitely head back the next time we’re in town! Highly recommend.

We went out on a kids charter and Ricky was so kind and patient and chill. We caught a bunch of mangrove snapper thanks to Ricky’s insider knowledge. Couldn’t recommend Aloha Charters more. 10/10!

First time using a charter. My 13 year old son wanting to try fishing in Florida. Ricardo was attentive, personable, and a wonderful teacher of how to fish in the mangroves. Ricardo was also kind to offer my son a fishing rod to use for the rest of our trip in the keys. We will definitely be fishing again with Ricardo our next time in Key Largo.

We enjoyed our fishing trip, and everything was great, but from the photos, we expected a deeper water / bigger fish experience. We also got cut short by rain (not the guides fault, of course). I would highly recommend this charter for kids and beginners, THAT would be the perfect outing!

You do make a great point, the trip you selected is our 2 hour mangrove which stays in the shallow calm waters on the bay side. As noted in the description it’s best suited for kids, families and beginners. Mangroves don’t typically grow very large and it’s not a deep water experience.
