  Our trip with Ke Nui Charters was absolutely incredible! From the moment we stepped aboard, Captain Tim made us feel welcome and ensured we had everything we needed for an unforgettable day on the water. Captain Tim's knowledge of the local waters was impressive, and it didn't take long before we were on the fish. He worked tirelessly to keep us in the action, shared great fishing tips along the way, and made sure everyone in our group had the opportunity to reel in some impressive catches. The boat was spotless, comfortable, and equipped with everything needed for a first-class fishing experience.   Half Day Trip (AM) on March 6, 2026 • 3 adults

  Recommend Cpt. Tim and Mike 100%. We were visiting at the tail end of winter and didn't have high expectations for particularly productive fishing but wanted to get out on the water during our visit regardless. So glad we did! The mahi were biting and we ended up with 5, including one around 25 pounds. Along the way, we saw whales and porpoises, too. Cpt. Tim and Mike are super personable and focused on providing a great experience. Friendly, full of advice, and just as excited for a good day of fishing as we were. The boat was extremely comfortable as well, with plenty of space to relax as well as fish.

  An Unforgettable Day on the Water with Ke Nui Charters

  Ke Nui Charters absolutely delivered the experience of a lifetime. From start to finish, their professionalism and attention to detail stood out. Captain Tim was ahead of the game from the moment we booked — he kept me updated on weather and ocean conditions and even reached out proactively to make sure our trip was set up for the best possible experience. Thanks to him, we were able to rebook for a day with perfect conditions. When we got out on the water, Captain Chris wasted no time. He had us on fish before 7:00 AM, and the action didn’t stop. His expertise and energy made the entire trip exciting, smooth, and incredibly productive. Dave, the deckhand, kept everything running seamlessly and made sure our group had a stress-free, successful day. His hard work and attention to detail made a huge difference. The results? Two marlins and two mahi-mahi landed by my party. Couldn’t ask for a better outcome or a better crew.   Great fishing trip, Captain Chris was very knowlegable of the waters we were fishing.

  Our group of six all had wonderful hookups (multiple) on great quality fish. I recommend the 10-hour trip, gives a chance to fish several areas for multiple species off the North Shore. Capt. Chris had a passion for his craft, he went above and beyond to ensure everyone had an enjoyable trip, not only did we catch fish, he taught the less experienced on the boat proper techniques for landing big fish. The Hula is a very comfortable and spacious boat, plenty of places to sit and/or even catch a nap in the air conditioned cabin. I highly recommend Ke Nui Charters, LLC, the Hula and her crew, we will book from them again.

  Great Day of Fishing and Enjoying the Water

  Full Day Trip on December 26, 2025 • 6 adults

  Great trip, Captain Chris and David were terrific! Bait was finicky but crew worked hard to catch enough to allow us both live bait fishing at agitators and lure fishing—and both were successful. Full day of fishing with plenty of action, landing 14- Mahi mahi, 4-Tuna, and a 500lb Blue Marlin boated and turned loose for someone else’s adventure. Hula is a beautiful boat inside and out making for a great day on the water. When back in HI we will be back with Ke Nui Charters
