  Captain Luis doesn’t know the meaning of “Give up!”

  Full Day Trip Offshore on May 10, 2026 • 2 adults

  We spent the day with Captain Luis and First Mate Benjamin. The fishing was slow with a small catch of Black Fin Tuna and Bonita. After that there was nothing for a very long time. The day was close to over when we had respectable size Dorado on our lines and caught simultaneously. They were soon on board and on the dinner table last night with plenty to eat for the rest of our week in San Juan del Sur. Captain Luis recalled my previous visit with him 2 years ago in detail down to the rain and sea conditions. A ten foot sailfish and the largest Dorado I’ve ever seen. Don’t gamble with just any charter. I live in Florida and lived in Alaska 6 years. I know fish and charter crews. You can be confident Captain Luis will provide the best experience any charter captain can provide on the water. He works hard getting you on the fish and knows these waters like the back of his hands with over 22 years experience. The crew at OSS provided cold water, sliced watermelon, pineapple and the best cerviche around. So, I highly recommend Captain Luis and OSS!

  Amazong trip! Would Highly recommend

  had a great experience. It was a slow day for fishing but still landed 2 incredible fish in the short time we were with the boat. The captain Luis and his crew mate Benjamine were incredibly helpful and knew how to navigate the waters. My only complaint was after we got our fish off of the boat, we were recommended to go to either of the two resterants by the port "The Dock" and "Tuanis" to prepare it for us and they both turned us away. We had to walk into town to Restaurante Lago Azul which did an excellent job, would highly recommend

  Amazing Trip!

  We caught 7 mahi-mahi and 1 tuna! Captain Luis never gave up and stayed determined until my daughter caught her very first tuna, which made the day incredibly special. Mate Guillermo was also outstanding. He kept everything organized, was always there to help when needed, and even prepared fresh fruit for us throughout the trip. This was truly an amazing family experience, and we couldn’t have asked for a better crew. Highly recommend!

  amazing experience

  I do a lot of fishing in Florida, but after the experience I had here it was amazing. The boat was very nice. Luis knew exactly what to do how to turn into where the tuna was or the other fish was like he knows the water and the birds exactly with the fishes and every time he decide to go One Direction we used to get on a fish trolling myself in my three daughters and we all got several times to bring a fish aboard. Highly recommend definitely would do it again.

  Family Bonding at its best

  A great morning with Captain Luis- the boat was clean, well equipped, and comfortable. Communication was clear and helpful. Had a great time- caught tuna and mackerel during our 4 hour trip- also got to see a bunch of humpback whales, and pelicans diving for sardines. Kids had a great time reeling in the fish- fresh fruits, snacks, and water were provided. Highly recommend.
