Could not be more satisfied with my charter by Tahoe Trophy Trout! When I arrived the boat was clean and well equipped with all the gear necessary for deep water and top water fishing. Got on the water with Captain Rob and my dad bright and early at 530am. We worked the south and west shore most of the day as well as Emerald Bay. Rob had all the right gear to put us on non stop action. We probably had bites every 30 mins. Most of the action going to lake trout, we did manage a few nice browns as well. Captain Rob DELIVERS! We were looking for a morning trip in the first part of July to target trophy lakers and he got it done. We put a few monsters on the boat, enjoyed scenic views with a great sunrise and learned a lot about the area surrounding the lake. If you get the chance to fish on his boat keep his contact info, as you will most definitely book another trip!

We had such a blast on Captain Rob’s boat.  He is experienced and knowledgeable about fishing and about the Lake Tahoe area.  He told us very interesting stories while he worked very hard to set us up to catch fish.  He made sure we were always safe and comfortable.  He toured us around Emerald Bay at sunset and even let me jump out of the boat to climb up Fannette Island.  The fish weren’t really biting much because of the season but Captain Rob kept smiles on our faces.  Highly recommend.

Captain Rob was very nice and had all the equipment we needed.  We caught a few trout although the fish were not biting that day which is not the captains fault just the way it goes in the fishing world.😀. Captain Rob worked very hard and definitely knew his stuff!  Overall a great experience!
