Hey there, I'm Captain Eric Planer! Growing up in sunny South Florida, I had a blast honing my angling skills in the local lakes and ponds. After school, you could find me riding my bike to the nearby pond and reeling in around 30 Largemouth Bass before dinnertime. Good times! I also pursued an automotive technology degree and worked as a skilled technician specializing in diesel vehicles. But as much as I enjoyed my automotive career, I couldn't ignore my true passion for fishing and the great outdoors. So, I took a leap of faith and decided to follow my heart. Now, I'm living my dream as a fishing guide, sharing my love for the water and helping people create unforgettable fishing memories.     We had a great fishing trip!

    4 Hour Trip – Peacock Bass • 2 adults

    Really enjoyed our time with Eric! Eric, not only got us on the fish. He showed us different techniques, that worked great. He has a great boat setup. Plenty of room and gear. I highly recommend Eric for a great fishing trip. I will also add he communicated with me before the trip to work out details and plans. He was very professional and accommodating if he needed to be. 10/10! Keep a look out for his iguana hunting.

    What a trip. Caught my first clown knife fish and tons of peacock bass. Absolutely brilliant. Would definitely be going back to FloBass again whenever I visit Ft Lauderdale.

    Largemouth Bass trip

    6 Hour Trip – Everglades Largemouth • 1 adult

    Capt Eric was excellent. 1. On time. 2. Organized. 3. Great knowledge and conversations. 4. We caught 12-15 plenty of largemouth and a couple of them over 5 pounds.

    What a peacock bass dream

    6 Hour Trip – Peacock Bass • 2 adults

    We were catching fish all day long. Eric was a great captain, very knowledgeable at what he did. A great time, 10 out of 10 recommend would love to do it again.
