Our fishing trip with Captain Alden was absolutely amazing. We (a group of 3 including a 9-year old) are novice anglers with no open water fishing experience. Our brief to Captain Alden was to make sure we caught enough fish to feed our tribe - he delivered way beyond our expectations. He took us to various spots where we consistently got bites.     Ever get that thing when something you planned is coming up and feels anticlimactic? This trip was awesome even with that foreshadowing. Alden our guide is a good dude and knows his stuff. He explained why and where we were and was comfortable to be around as the whole trip was comfortable. Our party of 3 all had a great time and took home more than what we deserve from the ocean all cleaned and fileted by our guide. Thanks again Alden.

Capt Alden and his mate Ryan were great to fish with. It was a tough day for the bite, but with persistence and hard work we were able to take some fish home. Capt Alden was informative and offered great instruction. Mate Ryan worked hard keeping my buddy and I with fresh bait, and getting us out of being hung up. I wish I had his energy and fishing ability. We had a blast and would love to fish with Hot Reels again.

Captain Alden was the bomb! His first mate Alex was awesome too! We caught fish, a buzz and some sun..highly recommend these guys..the boat was the perfect size, plenty of gear, they even cleaned all the fish we caught.
