3 hour boat ride with no bate checks. Did not put us in the right kind of water to even have a chance. The fish are in the warmer green water of the pacific did not even come close. If you want a 500 dollar boat ride with no fish in the cold blue waters when your trying to catch the big fish in the warm green waters then this if just the boat for you

I’ll start of with letting you know **hidden content** bait is not an option and by the way I don’t mind as long as it’s being used and I get what I paid for. It was automatically 30 extra on the trip for the bait when I got on the boat with no option and then I watch one of the deck hands only hand the bait boat a 20. The lunch and beer you pay for is a bag of chips, a sandwich made at home and an apple. And they beer they provide are the little coronitas. If you want better food and beer I highly suggest getting the bare bones boat and bringing your own. The full day boats are not cheap and it would of been nice to feel some sort of hospitality. There was no communication through the day about anything. Both deck hands sat up top all day with the captain.. I have been fishing offshore for 30+ years and unfortunately it’s been the worst time I have had on a boat.

I am stuck with the tough question…was it a bad day, or a bad Captain?
First, Captain Edgardo did not Captain the boat. The Captain was someone not profiled in the listing. Was he a good Captain, or someone being trained? I don’t know.
What i know, is it is the Captains job to put you on fish. This one did not. 2 bites, and one very small Dorado on an all day trip. We did spot one marlin, the deck hand cast the bait off the hook when he tried to cast live bait on the fish. That is the kind of rookie mistake that will ruin a trip.
It was a beautiful day, but a bad trip. For what we paid, I expect more. Sorry, but I am going to have to put this on the Captain. He did not do his job.
