Capt Mickey was awesome. He has a love for nature, animals and took us sightseeing and birdwatching followed by a wonderful fishing trip. Fish weren’t biting good at first but he was relentless in finding an area where they were hungry and we ended up catching everything we hoped for. Will definitely use him again!

The trip was great! Captain Mickey was great and took his time to show us his fishing techniques, and had us on fish most of the day. Definitely will book again!

Weather made things a bit unpredictable for an afternoon trip. That was made up for with an 8 lb spotted bass… yes, 8 lb not a typo…. fish was a complete hog. Let it go. Need to keep that type of genetics in the lake. If you are lucky enough to catch this fish next year you will probably have the lake record.

This was the first boat ride and fishing trip for my grandkids. Despite the heat of the day Capt. Mickey had us on fish within twenty minutes. My grandson caught two bass that were larger than any I’ve ever caught in my 50 years of fishing. Capt. Mickey gave my grandkids a day they will be talking about for the rest of their lives. Captain Mickey was waiting for us before daybreak, and we were early for our appointment!  This trip was to reward the grandboys for their good efforts at school. Captain Mickey gave them excellent attention, kept them engaged, and was all around wonderful, making sure everyone felt safe and welcome. He didn’t know that I’d overheard one of us asking if we’d have to bait our own hooks, something I’ve not had to do, so I packed gloves. Captain Mickey did everything for us, baited hooks, used sonar to find the fish, gave a special fishy call to get them biting, took us on a narrated tour of the area, and made sure we did not leave disappointed. For the boys, and for us too, he gave us an exciting ride, all safely executed. I think the boys will remember this day forever.  And for the hubby, he’s been trying to catch a nice fish like this in Georgia forever!  Prissy girls, active grandboys, and super granddad all had a wonderful day. The boys fell asleep in the truck on the way home and their mom couldn’t wait to get home and catch a nap! A day well spent.
