We had a great time and would definitely come back again. This was our first time doing a fishing guide/charter. The small fish kept stealing our bait on the smaller rigs but we hooked and landed a couple of sharks that put up a good fight. We also lost three bigger fish or sharks, not sure since we didn’t get them close enough to see before they cut the line. Captain Doug was excellent in moving when the bite was slow and had a great fun attitude.

Prompt linkup and launch at the marina. Lines in the water in less than ten minutes. Lots of black drum and redfish action. Using excellent light tackle, we enjoyed fighting with big reds. Highly recommend this charter for a quick and efficient tidewater experience.

My family of complete newbies got to join Captain Doug on a four hour inshore fishing trip today. He was incredibly patient, kind, and fun! We had a blast and caught a 32 inch redfish and got to bring one home to eat too. Thanks for the great time!

We had a blast. Everyone caught a fish on our 2 hour trip. Red Fish (30 in, 29in, and 27.5 inches) No keepers, but had fun getting them to the boat. Also caught a Flounder (13 in ) along with some other small fish and saw a shark. We also saw some dolphins around the boat dock and on our way to our fishing spot. The captain was accommodating and met all our expectations.

Amazing day with Captain Doug — big redfish, 11 species total, dolphins cruising by, and peaceful Folly Beach views. Doesn’t get better than that!
