- I was born and raised in the great state of Michigan. I have traveled the world in search of adventure and sportfishing opportunities. I have well over 30 years of fishing experience in some shape or form. I have fished for Walleye in Minnesota, Pike in Canada, Sailfish in Jamaica, Seatrout in Florida, Yellowfin Tuna off Oahu, Sharks in Maine, Bluegills in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, and the last 18 years have been devoted to Great Lakes trolling for Salmon on Lake Michigan and Walleye on Lake Erie. I have been fishing ever since I can remember. I TAKE FISHING SERIOUSLY! With all that said, I love to fish and would love to help you catch the big one that didn't get away. We do it better at Michigan Sport Fishing Company!
- Techniques
- In the post winter months of April and May we troll the near shore waters of Lake Michigan for trout and salmon. Spring kings and brown trout are some of the toughest advesaries an angler can tustle with. June and early July are all about offshore steelhead and lake trout fishing out on the thermal breaks. Air born missles of the fogg will test your angling ability. July through September is Tuna time, Adult Chinook salmon return home to spawn in the Manistee river. Screaming drags in the pre dawn dark is what lake michigan is all about!
