I had a client/friend from North Carolina first fished with me in 2009 on my boat today. Little slower bite, more wind, but the bull reds cooperated . Jumbo bull shark bit one of our redfish in half at the boat.

It was a real pleasure fishing with you and your family. We started the morning with a long SLOW boat ride in fog with less than 50 yds visibility. Navigated to the location I’d found the big redfish the previous day totally by chart GPS. Those big drum didn’t let us down.

It’s been a brutally hot August. Water temperatures in the Bay have been high, making for tough fishing conditions . Great folks who obviously enjoyed getting out on the Bay for six hours of fishing.

Always a great, relaxed day with Justin on the boat. Watched him hook a big tarpon on a light rod while we were drum fishing. It dumped 200 yds of line in seconds before a big jump and lost him. Still a rush for everyone in the boat that day.
