I bought this trip for my 2 adult children and their spouses. We’re all life time fishermen, and I’ve been fishing the inlets my entire life. The problem is, I’ve been fishing for flounder all wrong. The captain immediately taught them his technique and they ended up catching between 15-20 flounder (5 keepers) in a 4 hour morning, along with a lot of other various species. We had an awesome half day with Hayden Lancaster. He is knowledgeable and rolled with the punches. Hayden checked whether we wanted a lot of fish, dinner or large fish. He took us to an offshore reef first. One of our crew didn’t handle the swells well. After a few blue fish and a couple sharks, we went in to some grassy areas. We had a good time out. A couple of my buddies hadn’t been fishing before.We didn’t go as far as we would’ve due to a storm that came through the day before.the captain kept us in safe waters the entire time. We celebrated my 60 bday with the best day of fishing I’ve had in 10 years. Hayden asked us what we wanted to catch, then put us on the fish! A five gallon bucket of sheepshead, two slot reds and 12 monster drums later, we were so happy! We had 5 doubles, OMG what a great day! Our guide was ready, prepared, knowledgeable and just a nice young man!
