    Half Day Trip with Captain Hussain Saeed

    I had an outstanding fishing trip with Knight At Sea, led by Captain Hussain Saeed, on 28th November 2025. From start to finish, the team demonstrated professionalism, dedication, and genuine passion for ensuring a memorable experience. Captain Hussain was extremely proactive in locating productive fishing spots. He constantly assessed the weather and sea conditions, adjusting the fishing style accordingly. We moved seamlessly from casting to jigging, and thanks to his expertise, I landed around ten fish, including jobfish, grouper, seabream, and a beautiful red snapper, which was the largest catch of the day. What stood out most was the captain’s relentless effort to secure the best spot for me. The moment we arrived at one of the locations, I dropped my first jig and instantly hooked a fish – an unforgettable “fish on” moment that set the tone for the day. As I was travelling alone, I greatly appreciated how well the team took care of all transport arrangements, reels, and fishing equipment. Everything was prepared, maintained, and managed with complete professionalism, allowing me to focus solely on enjoying the experience. Overall, it was an amazing and thoroughly enjoyable trip. I highly recommend Knight At Sea and Captain Hussain Saeed to anyone seeking a top-tier fishing adventure. I will certainly be returning for another trip in the future.

    4 Hours Casting

    Discover Maldives Fishing

    Had an overall great day, went casting and the captain put me on a good spot with lots of bait. I wanted to catch a GT which I did, guide caught a dogtooth. Had a few break the line as well. Would recommend,

Headed out 8am for a 6 hour trip and targeted reef species. All except one participants are fairly new to sportfishing yet managed to get good catches. Highlight of the trip was a huge green jobfish and a monster long nose emperor fish

Jigging Trip 4 Hours

Dec 29, 2025 • Malé
Headed out just before noon with Peter & Son for some action packed fishing. The initial spot we went wasn't very productive so we immediately drove further away and started our drift and started getting strikes from GT, Jobfish, Blue & Yellow Grouper and dogtooths. Surprisingly there were no shark bites despite fishfinder going crazy with bait marks but eventually one of the fish, the most prized for us that day was lost of a shark. A red emperor. All around it was a great day. We safely released 3 GT's

Trolling for wahoo

We set out early morning for a trolling trip and immediately after deploying the lures we got hit on one of the lures by 10kg waahoo, we had 3 more strikes and they were of similar size, quite possibly bigger. As its just the beginning of the season we expect lots of wahoo in the coming days along with sailfish

Productive day fishing

We set out early morning to do some casting and jigging. We caught a big red snapper early morning casting unfortunately the fish managed to unhook itself just near the boat. Later into the day we managed to catch a monster red snapper along with some GT strikes but didn't manage to hook it. And then we tried jigging and managed to catch several job fish, and a variety of groupers. Overall it has been an excellent day.

GT Hunt

Today was all about GT's as we were on a casting trip specifically to target GT. We caught 6 GT in total with several more striking our lures but we weren't able to get them to hook.
