Afternoon trip jigging for reef species, caught several Coral trouts and the kids enjoyed cruising along calm waters and clear weather

Headed out just before noon with Peter & Son for some action packed fishing. The initial spot we went wasn't very productive so we immediately drove further away and started our drift and started getting strikes from GT, Jobfish, Blue & Yellow Grouper and dogtooths. Surprisingly there were no shark bites despite fishfinder going crazy with bait marks but eventually one of the fish, the most prized for us that day was lost of a shark. A red emperor. All around it was a great day. We safely released 3 GT's

We set out early morning for a trolling trip and immediately after deploying the lures we got hit on one of the lures by 10kg waahoo, we had 3 more strikes and they were of similar size, quite possibly bigger. As its just the beginning of the season we expect lots of wahoo in the coming days along with sailfish
