Sorry you did not enjoy your trip. Some days fish don’t do there thing. It stinks. Hopefully your next fishing trip will be better. Obviously it will not be with us but good luck to you.

Sometimes Fishing is not great on 1/2 day trips and there is no plan B on short trips. So I expect to get a bad review. Mrs. Washington’s group was fun to fish with and we simply caught what was biting. Which happened to be a fish not good to eat. So I am Sorry you did not enjoy your trip. We kept 1 fish out of 40. Which is a weird day for us.

It you compare a 6 hour bottom fishing trip outside of Red Snapper season to other trips you taken you will probably always be disappointed. I will say i am sorry you did not enjoy your trip but will go over a few points. Yes our deckhand did not make it. His truck broke down on the way to boat. It happens. Next cost. Trip costs 900.00 dollars. And says in site there is no fish cleaning included.  Fish cleaning on dock is not allowed at our marina. Next it is a bottom trip. A short one at that. We caught reef fish(some in season some out) . Next trolling. That is not my idea of trolling because it’s not trolling. And i believe this is where problem is. The Deberry’s caught White Marlin on another charter in a another place. That does not happen in Nothern Gulf on short trips. Next Bonito. Not considered good eating in this area. 95 percent of people around here leave then on dock. We use them as extra cut bait. So some confusion there. The Deberry’s are nice people and i enjoyed fishing with them. Wish they had come upstairs and talked with me. Maybe we could have fixed. But here we are and i have to answer review. They did not enjoy and that is not what we want.

That’s a lot to go wrong in just 4 hours. But I will cover some of your points. I waited to respond to this review until I was on the Boat. The motors are diesel but I am here now and they smell no different than normal. If the wind is breezy and blow the exhaust into back deck you would smell it. But I have not had anyone else said a word about it. Yes I will agree that Mark and Gabe do not need to work together and do not any more. Mark did not handle his frustration with Gabe very well. But the playing on phone and not playing attention caused that frustration. So that is fixed. We have other crew members that can do the job. Fishing can be slow some times and you can only go some many places in a half day. If you had caught 40 I am sure this would have been a different review. But I hate you did not enjoy your fishing trip and hope you did enjoy your vacation to P.C.B. Thank you.
