5 Hour Trip – Action Trip

I have been deep sea fishing several times. Half the time on charters and the other times with buddies that have a big enough boat. This was the best charter fishing trip I have ever been on. The trip was 5hr AM trip. It was an hour out and another hour back. So the 3 hrs fishing was action packed. My kids was wore out. The first mate Wes was very helpful with my kids (baiting, taking fish off, untangling, etc) Next time I’m down this way I will definitely be booking another trip.

We had a great time. Definitely bring an extra $20 for a quick live bait stop on the water. Most of our hits were on the live bait. The boat was big with plenty of room for everyone. Don’t forget your own snacks and drinks. Oh, and for anyone that isn’t sure, it’s customary to tip 15-25%.

We had a great time with Captain Mark and Howard. The weather wasn’t cooperating with us in the morning for the trip but they made it happen and kept our safety in mind. Caught a hammer head toward the end. Caught some mackerel for dinner both ways on the trip. We’ll definitely be back for this trip again.
