My husband and I went out today with Captain Norm and Sean and took two of our friends with us. We caught a mahi mahi apiece. Only one was a keeper but catching them was still a lot of fun.

The crew was FANTASTIC. Both were conscientious, knowledgeable and seemed to actually really, really want us to catch fish and did their level best to make that happen (it didn’t, we each only caught one fish but obviously not their fault.) We really enjoyed their company - they were both very easy going and were fun and Sean had a lot of great stories he shared.

Despite only catching one keeper fish we thoroughly enjoyed trying to coax them onto our hooks and just being on the water makes for a good time. We did enjoy an unexpected treat when the U.S. Navy’s Blue Angels began buzzing us as they practiced for an upcoming air show, which made up for not getting more fish.

The boat is kind of a typical fishing boat situation. Not luxurious but large enough, quite comfortable and it got the job done. There is definitely room enough for six but not much more.

We will definitely use this charter again, the only feedback I can think of is maybe asking the folks who hire you what they want to do. When we didn’t have much luck after our initial catch Norm moved us closer to shore to fish over a reef - which was fine, I realize he was just trying to give us the best chance he knew to catch fish - but in retrospect we all decided we would have rather just remained over blue water to try our chances at getting mahi. It’s not something we vocalized at the time, just a suggestion I thought of afterward.

Captain Norm, Oliver and Sean were wonderful. They made sure my 10 year old son caught as many fish as possible. He had the time of his life and We will definitely go again.

Amazing time out with Norm and Shawn, great laid-back guys that definitely know what they are doing! Would highly recommend.

We booked a morning 1/2 day fishing excursion on the Atlantic with Captain Norm Truman and First Mate Shawn.  My husband and I caught and released 3 sailfish!!!  Also caught some Tuna - had a wonderful dinner!  They worked well together and helped us to reel in our catch successfully .  Will definitely book with them again when we are back in the area.

We had a wonderful experience. Captain Norm and his crew members made our trip memorable specially for my little boy. Recommend booking with this charter boat 10/10.
