My husband and I had a great time. Capt Jon kept in touch with me via text letting me know where to meet and what to bring.  He even asked which side of the spinning reel handle we prefer.  He showed us how to bait our hook and how to read the water so we know where to cast.  We hit our limit pretty early but we kept fishing since we booked him for a full day.  This I appreciate greatly.  You can also tell Capt Jon really enjoys this.  I will definitely book him again!

Jon put us on Trout in the morning with top water lures—we caught our Trout limit very early! Catching perfect eating-size Black Drum rounded out our day. Jon is courteous and a safety conscious boat captain. We found him flexible as he pampered one person by baiting the hook all day and let the other work independently. The day was filled with lots of fishing tips, shared stories, and of course, catching fish! We will book with him again!

Captain Jon provided the best fishing guide experience I’ve had in 15 years of fishing the Coastal Bend. Jon put us on the fish and we limited out on redfish both days before noon. While doing so he gave great commentary on the wind, the tide, and gave great instruction. On a personal level, Jon is easy to get along with and just a super nice guy. I will continue to fish with Capt. Jon going forward.

Great experience. Captain Jon was very knowledgeable and very patient. He explained every aspect of fishing and conditions. We caught our limit. My teenage Son was very happy. This was our first time doing something like this. I recommend Captain Jon on anyones next fishing excursion.
