I have never been on this type of fishing trip in my life so a newbie 🙃.  It was better than Disney! Capt. Jon was the best guide meaning if it was 10 min and the fish wasnt biting we would troll elsewhere. Basically non-stop action. He watched over me and offerred great tips to my son (my son gave me this trip for my birthday!) And me as well. We caught our limit and was trading out for bigger trout we caught because we were in such honey holes we couldnt stop the addiction and excitement!  Truly a blast and i would recommend Captain Jon for any of your fishing adventures!!! 5 🌟 🤩

Captain Jon was wonderful! We caught our limits on Trout and Red fish and hit a grand slam by also bagging keeper flounders and a black drum. We caught many other fish that we had to throw back; sooo many fish. Captain Jon was great about putting us where we needed to be. We also had dolphin friends following us most of the time and that was a great treat! We enjoyed their company and watching them as we fished. Even after we limited on 2 species, Capt Jon kept us out on the water until all of our bait was gone, just in case we caught something else. We greatly appreciated that. He was friendly and knowledgeable. We will definitely book with him again !!! Thanks and Gig’em 👍🏼

I went out with Capt. Jon, solo. It was the day after the front. Cold but not real breezy. Capt Jon took me to a few spots. Started strong, but no keepers. Fun as all get out. Moved a bit, hit a couple with some keepers. Capt. Moved us a again and a few more. Mostly reds, just under, but fun fun, fun. Got back to original spot and hooked a couple fat trout and big red.

I got to tell you. Capt. Jon is a great man as well as Capt. 5 stars is not enough. If you do not book with Capt. Jon, you will regret it. Not only did I find a great Capt., but a good friend along the way. Capt. Jon is knowledgeable, friendly, funny and all around a great fishing guide. My wife would not let me go again the next day, but told me I could go again! That is how awesome a time I had, and it was bite ass cold!

Captain Jon went above and beyond to make a great fishing trip for us.  He worked with our schedules to help us select a date for our trip.  I have been fishing for over 50 years; mostly freshwater, and I was very impressed with Capt. Jon’s attitude and his willingness to accommodate my physical disabilities. He told us at the start that fishing was slow due to the moon cycle, but that did not stop Capt. Jon!  He put us on fish right away!  I was very comfortable on his boat.  His boating skills are top notch.  He did not lose his cool when other fisherman went full throttle through our casting spot.  He just moved on to another spot.  My buddy caught a 32” Red and a 27” Spec right after we moved.  While we did not limit out, we got close and caught some quality fish!  Of all the guides I have hired or met, Capt. Jon has been by far the best!  He answered all our questions and is very knowledgeable about the area.  He listens and is great at figuring out where you need help.  We will be hiring Capt. Jon for many more trips!

Our day of fishing could not have gone better.  Captain John’s boat was fast, comfortable and easy to get to since it was sitting in a boat lift on the canal in his backyard. No hassle with parking lot crowds or anything else. Captain John put us on the fish right away and my wife and I each got our limit of speckled trout, my wife caught a huge flounder, and I caught the monster redfish.  So we got a team-based Texas slam!  On top of the successful fishing, Captain John was a tremendous source of knowledge. He never grew tired of our many questions. It was truly a pleasure to spend the day with him.
