  Captain Len is the best!

  Captain Len is the best! He took my wife, our 6-year-old daughter, and me out for an incredible morning on Lake Blue Ridge. We caught our first bass within the first 10 minutes, and from that point on the trip was already a success. I was a little concerned about keeping my daughter engaged since she’s 6 and can lose interest pretty quickly, but Captain Len was fantastic with her. He let her play with the live bait, explained what we were doing, showed her around the boat, and made her feel like part of the adventure. We explored different parts of the lake, stopped at several fishing spots, and absolutely crushed it. I honestly lost count, but we must have caught 15+ fish, including spotted bass, striped bass, walleye, catfish, and perch. We even took a swim in the lake before heading back. More than just a fishing trip, it was an unforgettable family experience. Captain Len helped create one of the highlights of our vacation, and we’re so grateful for the memories. If you’re thinking about booking a trip, don’t hesitate—you can’t go wrong with Captain Len.

  Amazing Nottley famly trip- limited out

  Nothing is guaranteed in fishing but you should always be ready- Capt Len is one of the best guides we have fished with and we have fished with many inside and outside the US. He made sure everything was taken care of and that we had a wonderful time- he was at the launch and ready early, rods rigged, and had plenty of bait in the well. He is very repectful, helpful, and knowledgeable without being overbearing at all. Len worked very hard to get us on the fish by hitting a few spots but he was always ready with fresh bait or the net and handled the chaos of multiple fish on at once. The bite started a little slow but we were always marking good fish on the bottom machine- he knows how to find the fish. We picked up a few nice ones along the way but the last spot was on fire with several big fish being caught.

  Captain Len again and again!

  Captain Len is the best! He is so knowledgeable on the best spots but also honest about the process and that sometimes you get lucky, sometimes you don’t. This was our second year with Captian Len, once in Blue Ridge and this time in Tennessee. We caught about 16 fish, threw some back and kept a few monsters. Captain Len is patient and consistent, highly recommend this charter!

  Capt. Len Goes the Extra Mile

  Half Day Trip (AM) on May 27, 2026 • 4 adults

  The fish were lock-jawed on the morning we went out. Capt. Len said it was the worst bite he has seen in over six weeks. Fish were showing up on the finder and even jumping all around us, including two ~30 lbs catfish (I had never seen catfish break the water like that before), but nothing was biting. Capt. Len drove up and down the river hitting different spots. He even extended our trip by an extra hour, until our nephew caught a ~4 lbs largemouth. I really appreciated Capt. Len's extra effort on an unusually, tough day.

  Great Time on Lake Nottley

  Captain Len was fantastic—he had everything ready for us as soon as we arrived, which made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. It was just a short 10-minute ride to the fishing spot, and we started catching fish almost immediately. The highlight of the trip was my son catching the biggest fish he’s ever caught—a very nice striper! Captain Len was incredibly helpful and clearly very knowledgeable about both fishing and the lake. I highly recommend this trip to anyone looking for a great fishing experience!
