The lakes of Georgia hide within them a lot of secret fishing spots, underwater holes, and tricky bays. Fish Slayer Fishing Guide has been fishing the mountains and lakes of Georgia his whole life, he knows this are better than the back of his hand and he's here to share that expertise with you.
The boat you'll be fishing from is a 19-foot NauticStar, built in 2017 – it still has that new boat smell to it. It's powered by a solid Yamaha outboard engine, with 115 HP of power. That's quite enough for this shallow boat as it can develop a maximum cruising speed of 35 knots, sliding across the lakes in no time.
Captain Len Slay loves fishing the lakes to his bones so much, you can bet he wants to catch the fish even more than you! You'll go after a variety of species such as Catfish, Walleye, Striped Bass, Spotted Bass, and Hybrid Striped Bass. Spinning, jigging, drift fishing, and trolling are the techniques that work best in this area and Captain Len is an expert in all of them.
Pickup is available from any dock on Reregulation Reservoir or Carters Lake, the distance is not important. All equipment required is provided by the captain. Live bait is also available and prepared for the customer before you arrive. There is no minimum age for kids with Fish Slayer Fishing Guide service and young anglers are welcome to enjoy the amazing lake fishing this area has to offer!

Tough Fishing conditions but great results

I've never had luck on Carter's lake so I thought I'd use a guide to show me how it's done. Unfortunately there was a cold snap, high winds, and threat of rain, so chances were not looking good. Captain Len found the best spots and gave us a good chance to catch fish despite the conditions. Both my daughter and I caught plenty of fish, including some good size stripers. He was a pleasant guy to chat with and was very knowledgeable of local reservoirs. I'd definitely go with captain Len again.

Great trip on the water. Captain Len was knowledgeable and had everything we needed. Weather cooperated but the fish were a little slow. Main objective was for my grandson to catch his first striper. Thanks to Len that mission was accomplished. All in all, a good day. We will be back.

My wife and I booked a trip with Fish Slayer “Len”and from the word go, he had us on fish. Len was friendly and really easy to talk with. We started out early morning and had a terrific experience the whole trip. I really liked that when the biting slowed down in one spot, we didn’t linger on a single place too long. We left with a cooler full of fish, some great pictures, and some really good memories about our shared experience.

After our first captain canceled on us and I screwed up my booking with Len, selecting both the wrong date(his day off) and the wrong lake. Len worked with us, he was very professional, got up early to get bait since he wasn’t planning on fishing. Kids had a blast, step daughter caught her first fish, boys caught about 20 bass and one walleye.

Len is awesome! We scheduled a day with Len based on all of his 5 star reviews and he did not disappoint! It was a scheduled 20th birthday trip for our son. Len met us at his boat at 6:30 am and Austin had a 38 inch bass on his line by 7:30…..and 5 more that day! Book Len at Fish Slayer! You won’t be disappointed! We will be back!
