  Had an epic day out on the water with Captain Pablo! Pablo absolutely put in the work to get us on fish. He was constantly working and dialing things in until we found ’em. You could tell he wasn’t about to just sit around and hope the fish showed up. He was grinding the whole day to make sure we had the best shot possible. Super chill dude, great vibes, and knows his way around water. Definitely one of those trips where you get off the boat stoked, sunburned, and already thinking about the next one 😂. Huge thanks to Captain Pablo and the deckhand Kayden for putting us on and making it a killer day. 10/10 would absolutely go again.

  you guys were awesome. Can’t wait to see you today for a sea trial on my boat that you guys get to fish on since you’re still here. how cold was it to see two hammerhead pilot whales, all the dolphin and all the life everywhere and clear blue warm water.

  Absolutely amazing experience with Fernandez Charters! Captain Pablo is the real deal — incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and just an all-around fun guy to fish with. He put us right on the fish and kept the energy high the whole time. What really stood out was how patient and skilled he was with my nephew, who had never been fishing before. Pablo took the time to teach him everything, from casting to reeling in, and made sure he had an unforgettable first fishing trip. We had an absolute blast and made memories that will last a lifetime.   Daniel, he’s hooked for sure! Favorite part is when he said he wants you to give him a rod and reel for his Birthday! That’s what it’s all about! Getting kids stoked on fishing!

  Max’s 20th B-Day trip

  Offshore-Half Day on September 1, 2024 • 5 adults

  I recently went on a fishing charter in San Diego with Captain Pablo, and it was an incredible experience. Our group of six targeted rockfish, and we had a fantastic day on the water, catching a ton of Scorpion Fish, Red Fish, and a variety of others. Captain Pablo was not only knowledgeable but also a great teacher. He took the time to help each of us improve our fishing techniques, making the trip both educational and fun. The boat was spotless and fully equipped with everything we needed for a successful day of fishing. Overall, it was a memorable trip, and I recommend Captain Pablo for anyone looking to have a great fishing adventure in San Diego.

  Donna, Thank you, so much for a great review. More importantly, thanks, for giving us the opportunity to take a great group of young men fishing. They were awesome! Great attitudes, learned quickly and never complained. They are welcome back anytime! These days are rewarding for me being able to pass on knowledge and skills to folks that are eager to learn!   Great time catching fish.

  4 Hour Trip – Local (PM) on July 24, 2025 • 6 adults • 4 children

  Captain Pablo was outstanding. He put us on the fish right away and kept the action going. When the bite slowed and the fish were small, he didn’t hesitate to move, check new patties, and keep things exciting. He even wrapped up the day with some fun in the harbor catching bass and happy hour. Friendly, easygoing, and never stingy with his effort, overall great experience!
