- Owner/Operator Eric Risen has been fishing the waters around Southern California for over two decades. He grew up fishing San Diego Bay as well as the inshore and offshore waters beyond. During this time, he honed his skills on a variety of local species. After graduating from the University of California Santa Barbara with a degree in Environmental Studies, he spent time working for the California Department of Fish and Wildlife before traveling the West Coast as a deckhand aboard the Fishing Yacht “Venture More”. He recently decided to follow his passion and become a full-time fishing guide in his hometown, San Diego. You will find Captain Eric knowledgeable, social, enthusiatic, and eager to give you a great fishing experience!
