This fishing trip turned out to be everything we wanted (needed) it to be during this pandemic. We brought our social bubble of six aboard. Capt Phil and First Mate Matt greeted us with distance and respect, and left it up to us to remove masks when we were comfortable (underway and motoring). Once lines were out and we’re fishing, it wasn’t long before the “fish on” yells started among our family members as we began to catch stripped bass. Gleeful cheers on ‘breaking ace’ upon first catch, and then more cheers landing ‘keepahs’. A special request was made for catching a bluefish, and sure enough we made that happen too. The boat was big enough for two love birds to steal away to the bow for a quiet moment of reflection. This trip fulfilled our emotional and physical need to be together as a family, and on the water doing what we love best - fishing. Thank you Lady J. We shall return soon.

We booked the 2-7 charter on July 14th. We didn’t know what to expect, but Captain Phil answered all of our questions in advance making it a more relaxed start.  The boat was clean and set up perfect for 6 guests and 2 crew.  The minute we started fishing the fish were biting!  The Mate was very helpful and attentive the entire trip. Captain Phil coached us at every step and added in some humor along the way.  Everyone in our charter caught 3or 4 Stripers.  It was a great experience for people like me who had done it before and also for those who were Charter fishing for the first time.  We will definitely be booking with Captain Phil and the Lady J next year!

Captain Phil warned seas were rough but once we got out there they had calmed enough for a really great fishing trip.  Thank you Captain Phil and First Mate Chris!  We had a great time and it was fun catching my first striped bass!

Great trip overall. We started to hit on stripers almost immediately. Got our share of keepers. The boat was clean and comfortable. We all had a great time. Thanks to Captain Phil and the first mate!
