It was a windy and rainy day, and the water was super choppy. I had my wife and four kids on the boat and after about 30 minutes my wife and daughter started throwing up from how rough the water was so Captain Matt turned around and dropped them off back at the van. Had a great time fishing with Matt during our vacation in Hawaii! It was our first time deep sea fishing, and Matt went above and beyond to make it an incredible experience. He made us feel right at home on the boat, letting us get hands-on with everything—from setting up the rods to even helping drive the boat. Can’t recommend him enough!

Within the first hour we connected with two Skipjack Tuna, that alone made the trip worthwhile. We trolled some more and then we stopped to bottom fish. We quickly began to catch bait and caught moana, trigger fish, trevally, and hogfish. Matt is a great guide and very welcoming. We will be using him again in the future, maybe even on this trip
