Afternoon trip with Ryan for catfish and the experience couldn’t have been much better. I learned some new techniques from Ryan and he gave us insight about why fish were located in the areas where we caught them. And we did catch them! Over 40 catfish in a 4 hour trip!
Ryan has been fishing Lake Conroe for over 25 years but only recently started a guide service. We had lines in the water within 10 minutes of leaving the dock and had the first keeper in the boat a minute after getting the bait in the water!  Fished at three different locations during the trip and caught fish at each spot.
Ryan knows where the fish are and has a high resolution Garmin fish finder on the front of the boat where you can actually watch the fish take your bait.
Very successful trip.  Beside the catfish, wife caught one hybrid striped bass and a large perch. Weather was cloudy and cool.

Captain Ryan is very knowledgeable regarding the best fishing spots on the lake, all the while sharing his techniques and a few secrets too. He has all the right equipment to find the fish fast. Courteous, respectful and very professional as we brought our senior mom, who was easily accommodated and comfortable, landing fish after fish. We’ll book with Captain again in a month or so. Highly recommended.

We had wonderful day fishing with captain Ryan; he put us on top of the fish. It’s hard for not catching your limit. I felt kinda cheating a little since we could see them on our sonar monitor and we could kinda tell how big they were. Captain Ryan is very professional and experienced, thank you very much!
