It was a real dream of my husband’s to go deep sea fishing in Costa Rica. And this trip more than fulfilled it for him. Capt. Nelson and Carlos were very punctual and picked us up from the beach outside of our resort. They had a nice conversation with us about what we were interested in fishing for and what our main goals of the trip were. The boat was nice and clean and the equipment was in great condition. The weather was really perfect and the captain drove the boat extremely well! At one point Capt. Nelson was driving us along the coastline and out of nowhere spotted a giant Marlin he was extremely skilled in spotting it and immediately directed the boat so we could throw out the bait and almost instantly we hooked the marlin! It was quite the fighter! Thank goodness Carlos was there to help us try and reel in the Marlin because he was about 500 lbs and about 13-16 ft in length! Just gorgeous! It was such a thrill and it was so much fun because the crew was very enthusiastic which made the excitement all the more thrilling!! Carlos was really great and very skilled in addition to just being super supportive with the reeling and teaching us about fishing, when we looked hot he’d offer to pour fresh water on us which was very refreshing! He made us beautifully freshly sliced pineapple the cooler was overstocked with water, soda, beer, sandwiches, chips, everything to make the day even better! It was one of the greatest experiences we have ever had in Costa Rica or anywhere! A big thank you to both of them it was great!!!!! More than we could have ever expected! Requested thar we target roosters,yellowfin tuna, and a cubberra snapper. Captain got first two done and then we trolled. Jumped a big marlin(250 +) and got multiple hits. Great day and captain/ crew made it happen. Highly recommend.

We went offshore with capt Nelson and the tuna fish. The mates Oliver and Manuel were great. Very informative and worked hard to catch the fish. They were very prompt and helpful. We caught a few sailfish and a bunch of mahi mahi! Had a great time and would recommend these guys to anyone. I hope to go back out with them soon!

I can’t put it in words what a good fishing trip we had! The captain was great, the crew was great and we caught a massive Amberjack! I would recommend these guys to all my friends! Next time I’m in Costa Rica definitely going with them again!
