Excellent crew and a well equipped, nice boat with decent equipment/tackle.  We caught 8 small mahi-mahi and 2 barracuda, we just couldn’t find any larger fish or other species.  Overall, it was an excellent day, even with the rough seas and huge areas of seaweed mats (which is where we caught all our fish).  Captain Ares and his crew Tito & Luis worked hard and took good care of us. I would definitely recommend booking with Fishing Machine & the “Vitamin Sea”.

Our 8hr fishing trip with the Fishing Machine crew was all we could have asked for and more!  We landed 2 nice Mahi within the first 30 minutes of trolling, followed quickly by 2 significantly even larger Mahi.  The Mahi continued to hit throughout the day, totaling 8 landed.  We also landed a nice yellow fin tuna and baracuda.  The biggest highlight of the day was a hard faught battle with a white marlin that we couldn’t get in the boat but made for an exciting challenge.

The crew was very well prepared and worked hard throughout the trip to give us the best experience possible.  Highly recommend!!

started the day off greeted bybthe crew, the lads where great talk me through everything.
i ask about shark fishing and before i new it we was at the point dropping a bait. it didnt tale long before the first hit, which we succeeded on landing. (my first bull shark) around 80lb.

what a fight, ive caught some fish in my time but for a juvenile bull shark it put up one hell of a fight.

we went on yo catch another but before that we lost one, i can only explain it to being attached to a train, it just run.

finished the day off trawling but had no luck.

overall it was a fantastic trip, the crew couldnt do enought for me.

a trip i definitely wont forget.

The whole marina skunked on billfish and most boats on all but cudas. Not us, we got 15 mahi and 10 or so cudas that were all good sized. Captain and crew worked their ass off all day and I cannot recommend enough. My nephew (12) had a blast on his first trip off shore even though he slept for 2/3 of the trip. A+ rating for this boat and operation. Our ride from Case De Campo was easy to coordinate and top notch as well

I would like to start by this was a very organized trip for us. Pick up to and from the boat was arranged for us at a reasonable price. We fished with Necrio as the deckhand (sorry im sure its spelled differently). He had a full time job clearing weeds from lines and re tying rigs. He took good care of everyone while on the boat. All the gear and boat were in good shape.

  I would say the waves around the D.R. are more choppy that I prefer to be on. It was a normal day for them. I was worried that only 1 of 6 of us had been deep sea fishing and the trip would get called short but everyone hung in there even if they were sea sick.

  Only negative I have is it seemed it wasnt expected that we would want the fish to bring home. The filet job was a good start to prepping the fish to cook, but still needs finished. just use to being able to soak filets and cook after coming off a charter. It seemed like an inconvenience to ask for them to be cleaned and beggers cant be choosey. Still would recommend this charter for people with experience going out deep sea fishing. I would be hesitant if you have small children just based off choppy water on a normal day.
