If you’re in the market for a day to remember, look no further than Fishing Machine and their boat Good News. Captain Laurin will be your guide, allowing you to benefit from years of angling experience.

Great Barracuda, Amberjack, Bonito, Black Grouper, Mahi Mahi, Goliath Grouper, Red Grouper, African Pompano Jack, Little Tunny (False Albacore), Blue Marlin, Sailfish, White Marlin, and more are in the cards, depending on the time of year. You can expect to do some trolling, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

Children are welcome, so get ‘em offline and onto the water! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Customers are encouraged to bring snacks – lucky for you, there will already be some on board!

Capt. Laurin welcomes you aboard the Good News, a 43’ Torres convertible that can carry up to 12 passengers. It comes with outriggers, downriggers, all the essentials. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. Rods, reels, and tackle are ready for you, as well as lures.

There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.

Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, just show up ready for some fishing! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.

It’s recommended to bring sunscreen (non-spray), and sunglasses. Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be food and some light snacks included on board.
