Fishing Machine Punta Cana 

We had a great experience on this fishing charter out of Cap Cana! The boat was clean, spacious, and comfortable for our family of eight. The captain and crew worked incredibly hard to put us on fish, and despite the challenging conditions, we caught several fish and had a lot of action. The seas were very rough that day, and every one of us ended up seasick. Obviously, that’s something no one can control, and safety always comes first. Even though our trip was cut shorter than planned because of the weather, the crew handled everything professionally and made sure we still had a memorable experience. Fishing isn’t always about perfect conditions or the biggest catch—it’s about the adventure, the stories you’ll tell later, and the memories you make together. Thanks to the crew for giving our family an experience we won’t forget! We would definitely recommend this charter.

My concern when booking a fishing trip in a touristy location is always the lack of effort by the crew because they do this every day/several time a day and i could see how it gets old. This crew/company was fully commited and worked the full 6 hour trip to make it happen. The captain was focused on getting us where we needed to go and switched up the fishing grounds a few times for variation, not for lack of catching. The first and second mate were tirelessly focus on switcing up lures to keep a variation and also to keep the lines clear during sargassum season which is a chore in itself. 100% effort by the crew and it was greatly appreciated. The fishing grounds here tend to be a bit choppy by default. this was a great size boat to stay relatively comfortable in the swells. You can absolutly still feel the ocean in this boat which is why i wouldnt recommend going any smaller in size. When we come back we will absolutly be chartering right here with these guys.

Our 8hr fishing trip with the Fishing Machine crew was all we could have asked for and more! We landed 2 nice Mahi within the first 30 minutes of trolling, followed quickly by 2 significantly even larger Mahi. The Mahi continued to hit throughout the day, totaling 8 landed. We also landed a nice yellow fin tuna and baracuda. The biggest highlight of the day was a hard faught battle with a white marlin that we couldn’t get in the boat but made for an exciting challenge. The crew was very well prepared and worked hard throughout the trip to give us the best experience possible. Highly recommend!!

We had the best time with the captain and crew on our 6 hour trip. From the moment we arrived, everyone was accomodating and friendly. The crew worked tirelessly the entire time ensuring we had the best chance at catching fish. We ended up reeling in 1 blue marlin and around 10 mahi mahi and a couple barracuda. Everyone in our group was able to land at least 1 catch. Amazing experience and would recommend to anyone near marina cap cana. You can’t go wrong with this crew!

We had an incredible day on the water with the Fishing Machine captain and crew. I brought my 11 and 13 yr old on their first offshore trip and it didn’t disappoint. We released a beautiful white marlin and caught mahi all day long! The captain and crew were top notch. When we arrived at 7, they had already gone out and caught bait. They never stopped working the whole time! I was so impressed with the effort they made to put us on the fish. I absolutely recommend this outfit!

We got skunked with a different charter on Saturday. Messaged these guys the night before and he was super honest. When I said we want Dorado and Marlin. He said we will try but there is no guarantee. We got on fish within 20 minutes of leaving. 7 dorado forbthe day and ended the day with 1 white marlin released. While we had a marlin on another 1 jumped 6 ft off the back of the boat. These guys are the real deal!

The wind was pretty bad today. As soon as we left the marina, we were hitting 10-15' waves. We trolled for about two hours without a bite, but once we got out about 10miles, the waves calmed a bit (6-8'). We trolled next to a floating seaweed mat and it was game on!!!!! My son caught a Mahi Mahi, the shortly after hooked up with a second. While he was figting his, I hooked up. My wife was even able to join in the action, catching the biggest fish of the day. We eneded up with 8, but that is perfectly fine with me, because I dont think our arms could bare another fish!!!

had an awesome trip fishing no complaints at all just a suggestion let people wear shoes bc both trips we had people fall dont think it would happen if had good shoes on instead of being barefoot i get it makes the boat dirty but ao does all the blood from the fish little food for thought are chef is making us dinner right now with are catch

We trolled for a while, catching only one Mahi Mahi…then we hit the spot. Couldn’t keep the fish off of our poles; had four on at one time. Eli, Luis, and Francis were excellent. Couldn’t ask for a better crew. My wife, son and I ended up with 17 fish on a four hour trip.

Beautiful weather day in the D.R. on the fishing machine with Capt. Francis & deck hand Tito. We trolled for Wahoo & Sailfish around some amazing under water structure and depth changes with big drop offs and nice bluewater. while the fish didnt coooerate this day the crew did what they could. We learned a new way to rig ballyhoo and deploy a downrigger. Overall we had a great time and highly recommend this charter.
