Captain Ray provided a great day of fishing for my father, brother and I. This trip exceeded our expectations and gave us great insight of topsail with local flair. Ray is very personable and is beyond knowledgeable of the ins and outs of fishing in the area. His tackle was top tier, and the boat was definitely comfortable to be on. We can’t wait to book with him again!

I was so happy to be able to get my two older boys out on a boat. The weather conditions weren’t the best for fishing and the captain was very informative and understood if we didn’t want to go out. This told me that he wasn’t only after my money. We stayed on the sound and my ten year old was able to hook a nice red drum! Both boys said that just being on the boat was an awesome experience. My 11 year old son and I booked the 6 hour trip.  We caught our limit of Speckled Trout!  Captain Ray was great.  He is very knowledgeable about fishing in the area and he took us to where the fish were biting!  I would recommend Captain Ray’s guide service to everyone including families with kids my son’s age.  My son and I had the best time fishing!

The weather has been extremely hot and the water is hot. The mid summer bite was slow so the captain went offshore on an inshore trip to put us on biting fish. It worked. Caught a variety of fish, gag grouper, seabass, flounder, grunts and mackerel. Capt Raymond is knowledgable of the local waters and species. Great personality to go with his experience!

Capt. Ray was phenomenal at knowing the fish, equipment, and locations! This man knows his stuff! The way he positions the boat is the best I have ever seen. So personable and a fun guy! He made the trip and I hope to come back and fish with him again!
